A girl's guide to selling homes in the Southern California desert: a love story.

A girl's guide to selling homes in the Southern California desert: a love story. Growing up in a small town nestled in the heart of the Southern California desert, I always loved real estate and helping people find their dream properties. Selling homes is my passion, and I am so excited to help you find your perfect property in this beautiful corner of the world. Whether you are looking for a vacation getaway or a permanent residence, I can help you find the right home and finance it in this amazing part of the country! I remember being a tiny person on a job site with a 2x4 cutoff and a grease pen in hand checking my parents' employees' work. I'd walk around inspecting the various nails, staples, cuts of paper and wire, and if they were properly overlapping. Occasionally, I'd find myself calling out a letter grade for their work performance. I spent so many hours watching my parents work, I know what looked right and what appeared totally wrong. I'd snarkily add, that's wrong, you fail! Oh, you can imagine how some grown men couldn't handle me telling them they were doing it wrong. Eventually, I grew strong enough to carry rolls of Jumbotex and K-Lath which allowed me to play fetch for others, and then apply the materials to the walls. I developed muscles that still today have my biometric scale reading athletic high muscle mass and above the average bone mass too! In my early twenties, I earned the opportunity to interview for a job with Fidelity National Title where I negotiated a great salary. While working for Fidelity, I loved helping real estate agents and the general public with the chain of title information. My unique position allowed me to travel away from my desk venturing out to real estate offices to mingle with agents which lead to me helping agents find the more challenging pieces of vacant land. Imagine, me taking my minivan through a desert wash to find the right land; well it happened, and we made it without getting stuck! Man, I loved that job. It was during this same time period, I was a Notary Public getting to do loan doc signings. It was then, during 2005-2007 I saw a lot of horrendous loan practices. Years later, when I studied and passed my Mortgage Loan Originator exam I learned how loan practices of yesteryears changed our standards to what they are today giving me a unique ability to compare that market to this market. It was the perfect storm of my skills, background, and experience that allowed me to excel as a real estate agent and Mortage Loan Originator. Do you need help finding your dream home in this beautiful desert oasis? I would love to help you!
