It's about time
I wake up and look in the mirror and don't recognize myself. If I squint and let's be honest, when I'm not wearing my glasses, I'm likely squinting - making those extra love lines in my face. I reach for my glasses and let out a sigh. Ah, there I am, an aging masterpiece, not like fine wine or aged cheese but of a thick chunk of mortadella, tiny fat deposits around my sweet and nutty bits. I brush my hair and begin my day. I like a slow start with a glass of water. Hence, my skin stays hydrated enough I can continue to call them love lines. I stay healthy by taking my daily herbs, and pre/probiotics, eating some sheep yogurt to satisfy my belly guggles, nibbling on a good size chunck of 90% dark chocolate and swallowing some Crazy Goat blend of Klatch coffee. It's time for a good stare out my front window overlooking the valley before I get serious about my day.
Recently, our new fur baby has interrupted my daily reading and study. He is an adorable train wreck to my day. I begin with the begging for him to use the outside potty and not my carpet. So far, I feel like I only win half of the time. Once he feels temporarily depleted of his energy, I can get back to my studies and daily workload. I work on my real estate transactions and spend an unhealthy amount of time scrolling and making social media, journaling, and running errands.
At the end of the day, week, and this last year, all the work is worth it when I help people achieve a dream of ownership. Sometimes, I have to help navigate credit or family & personal issues. The roller coaster of real estate is never dull. I strive for all my clients to be forever friends or adopted into my family. There is an open invitation to all my favorite people to join me at my patio events; I'm sure I will post about a few of them!
