Nonsensical Heavy Lifting

I have that Ridin' song stuck in my head, "They see me rollin' They Hatin' Patrollin' and tryna catch me ridin' dirty....." I regress; I thought about a recent client experience with a moving company. I loosely call them a moving company because they are more like a wrecking company. I can't believe how intolerable they made the whole experience from beginning to end; it was a total nightmare. One should have known by the social media post they were just a bunch of degenerate boys trying to do the work of a professional man. Still, a shot in the dark was embarked upon. Trouble ensued, beginning with a hole in the piano lid, a dropped white couch, busted legs on furniture, and holes in mattress pad covers. At the night's end, the movers had to audacity to ask for payment. They called the Sheriff's department to solve their civil action problem. It turns out that the company wasn't insured for any of the damages they caused. Don't make that mistake! Beginning July 1, the Bureau of Household Goods and Services (BHGS) will regulate residential moving companies that perform moves within California. Moving companies must be licensed before operating. Know your rights!!! Ask them for important rules and regulations moving companies must follow. Get a written estimate after they look at your job. Moving companies MUST provide a "not to exceed" price, and there are more considerations too. Using a moving company can be rewarding if it is done with great care and attention. First, go here: https://bhgs.dca.ca.gov/consumers/movers.shtml Don't get caught Rollin' Hatin' or Ridin' Dirty with a horrible moving company. Get a professional moving company and relax while they do the back-breaking work you don't really want to do for yourself.
