I just finished with a relaxation exercise titled The Crime of the Century http://www.kushs.net/kaplan/HW420/TheCrimeOfTheCentury.mp3.
This the first time I have used audio clues from a CD to visulize my chakras? Although I have used a Reiki guide to stimulate my chakras before and I experinced a far greater benefits that way than just doing it myself with a CD. I was able to see my heart, throat, third eye and crown clearly. While others like my root, sacral, and solar plexis are usually the ones that I show the biggest amount of sadness during. For me, acknowledging the sadness and tring to let it go is what I have worked on and off for about 12 years.

What colors did you see or not see? Do you know what the connection is to your body, mind, and spirit as you were asked to visulize those colors?

You might also enjoy mixing some aromatherapy in with your meditation. A suggestion of mine would be to try mixing Lavender with Clary Oil. This combination will help you to relax because of the mild sedative nature of both herbs, it could decrease any depression, or aid in soothing body aches and pains, and I have heard that if you have any addiction problems that it may help with that as well. Lavender aids in better sleep too. A win win if your not allergic to them. :-P

I believe for optimal health you have to tell your body that it is healthy, so I rate my health a 10 on a 1-10 scale for mind, body, and spirit. You are what you think you are.
Don't focus on the pain your body is in; instead try focusing on how pain free your body is. I hope to cover another topic on how to not only verbally tell your body this, but stimulate your body with tactile responses to help get you there faster.
